Music for the Soul Series - December 4, 2022
David Michael Boyd is an award-winning international artist (two time first place winner at both the One World Prairie Guitar Contest and the National Veterans Art Festival) and director of Blues Behind Bars. Blues Behind Bars is a band and a non-profit serving the incarcerated population in Colorado and beyond. David will be playing a mix of songs written with inmates in Colorado, original songs and instrumental pieces, classic Blues tunes! And there is a special Bronco cheer for you to learn for amusement! You will not want to miss this opportunity to experience David Michael Boyd at Nana’s Cocina from 2-4pm on Sunday, December 4.
Music for the Soul - December 11, 2-4pm
Nana’s Cocina continues its Music for the Soul series on Sunday, December 11 from 2-4pm featuring the Ñuevo Atzlan Latinjazz Sextet: A group of seasoned musicians paying homage to the call and answer of our Ancestors before us through sound and rhythm.
Ensemble leader, James Torres has assembled some of Denver’s most highly regarded jazz and Latin Jazz musicians. You do not want to miss this special event!
